Therefore we wanted to share some gift buying tips from our founder, Alina, and a few of her favourite things that will make perfect present!
“I absolutely love the idea of a gift whatever the occasion may be. My ‘go to’ is homeware, especially something for the table, because it is something that is used time and time again - it is part of making memories.
This year has seen a bigger focus on the home – of course – and it is great to see that transpire into the idea of a beautifully a set table and delicious home meals.
There is nothing more special that a perfectly wrapped gift with a handwritten note.”
What do you look for in a gift?
“A gift for me has the sole purpose to strengthen the mind and also the soul therefore, a perfect gift - however small or large - has to invigorate all of the senses. I also look for the long-term purpose and happiness the gift might bring to the recipient.
Although it might be appealing to think about the immediate effect of a gift, I am a firm believer that a gift should be enjoyed often over a long period of time. Essentially a gift is a sign of love and appreciation of everything that the recipient embodies.”
